BB Fertilizer Production Line: Equipment Configuration and Operational Advantages

BB fertilizer—also known as bulk-blended fertilizer—is widely used in agriculture due to its flexible formulation, comprehensive nutrient profile, and strong adaptability. A standardized BB fertilizer production line is essential for ensuring precise formulation, uniform mixing, and efficient production. This highly integrated system is easy to operate and supports automated, continuous production, making it ideal for the large-scale operations of small-to-medium-sized fertilizer plants; it offers a standard output of 4–10 tons per hour and an annual capacity of 30,000–50,000 tons.

The complete production line comprises five core modules: an automatic batching system, a conveying and lifting system, a high-efficiency mixing system, a quantitative packaging system, and an intelligent electrical control system. These components work in coordination to form a seamless production workflow.

The automatic batching system serves as the foundation of the line, featuring raw material storage silos, automatic feeding devices, and high-precision electronic weighing equipment capable of handling granular materials such as urea, phosphate, and potash fertilizers. Powered by a PLC control system, it achieves a metering accuracy of within 0.2%. It supports multiple preset formulas and allows for flexible adjustments to material ratios based on crop requirements and soil conditions, effectively eliminating the high error rates and low efficiency associated with manual batching.

The conveying and lifting system primarily utilizes bucket elevators and belt conveyors to smoothly transport the proportioned raw materials to the mixing unit. The equipment operates stably with excellent sealing, effectively preventing material spillage and dust emissions, minimizing material loss, and ensuring uninterrupted continuous production.

The BB fertilizer mixer is critical to product quality; it employs a rotary drum structure that mixes materials during forward rotation and discharges them during reverse rotation. This design ensures comprehensive, "dead-zone-free" blending of granular fertilizers, resulting in high uniformity without clumping or segregation. This guarantees consistent nutrient distribution in every bag and makes the system suitable for blending various types of solid granular fertilizers.

The line concludes with an automatic quantitative packaging system that integrates weighing, feeding, sealing, and conveying functions. It automates the quantitative filling and sealing of 25–50 kg bags, ensuring neat packaging and precise weight, which facilitates efficient large-scale warehousing of the finished product. The entire system features an integrated electronic control unit offering one-touch start/stop and intelligent regulation; it ensures ease of operation and maintenance as well as low energy consumption, aligning with the requirements for standardized fertilizer production in modern agriculture.
