What is a Bulk Blended Fertilizer Production Line?

A bulk blended fertilizer production line, also known as a BB fertilizer production line, is an automated production equipment system specifically designed for the physical blending of granular fertilizers. Unlike the chemical synthesis process of traditional compound fertilizers, this production line eliminates the need for complex processes such as high-temperature granulation and drying. It produces nutrient-balanced bulk blended fertilizers simply by precisely proportioning and uniformly mixing various single-element or compound granular fertilizers. It is a core piece of equipment for customized fertilizer production in modern agriculture.

The core principle of this production line is pure physical blending, without any chemical reactions. It mainly mixes urea, phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer, and micronutrient granular fertilizers according to the nutrient requirements of different crops and soils, preserving the original physicochemical properties of each fertilizer while ensuring comprehensive nutrient coverage and stable fertilizer efficacy, making it suitable for various field crops and cash crops.

The entire production line is simple and highly automated, with core processes running smoothly and efficiently. First, raw materials undergo pretreatment. Screening equipment removes lumps and impurities, ensuring uniform particle size and preventing nutrient stratification after mixing. Next, the materials enter the intelligent batching stage. An automated batching system precisely measures the raw materials according to a preset formula, with a measurement error controlled within 0.1%, guaranteeing accurate proportions.

The precisely batched raw materials are then fed into a BB fertilizer blender, where drum mixing gently blends the materials, preventing particle breakage and ensuring a fertilizer mixing uniformity of over 95%. The finished product can be directly stored in bulk or quantitatively bagged and sealed using automated packaging equipment, ensuring a closed-loop, highly efficient, and controllable process.

Compared to traditional fertilizer production equipment, the bulk mixed fertilizer production line offers significant advantages. It features a simple structure, low investment cost, minimal energy consumption, a short production cycle, and the ability to quickly switch between multiple nutrient formulas, flexibly adapting to market demands.
