The processing technology of the two granulators is the same

The disc fertilizer granulator is suitable for small-scale units, generally not more than 50000 tons / year, which is equivalent to NPK fertilizer production line of small-scale drum granulator.

Differences between the two machine

Rotary drum granulator is widely used and has good pelletizing particle size, including drum ammoniation and drum granulation. Among them, ammoniation is divided into one-step ammoniation and two-step ammoniation. Two-step ammoniation includes ammoniation reaction in the conversion tank and ammoniation reaction in the granulator. Drum ammoniation granulation is suitable for NPK fertilizer production line with phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid as raw materials. The amount of liquid phase of raw materials is large, but the materials formed by neutralization of these liquids are in solid form, and the drying amount needed is small.
The granulation rate of the finished product produced by the process is relatively high, but the particle strength is small, the appearance is not flat, the energy consumption is low, and the production process of the disc granulator is common. The granulation of the rotary drum granulator is not as easy to observe as the granulation of the disc. It is sufficient to use all-solid material production as long as it is not ammoniated.



Disc fertilizer granulator is made of all solid materials with less water content, and other production methods are the same as that of drum granulator The disc granulation process is relatively mature, with high granulation rate, controllable particle size, the best adaptability to raw materials, small equipment investment, better operation, but low output. There are some difficulties in the control of ammoniation granulation. There are some problems in environmental protection and safety in ammoniation granulation, so it is very troublesome to deal with them. These are some similarities and differences between the two.
